Introduction
Rashein Samuel delivered a dominant performance to defeat Vishal Jadhav 11-6 in the final, clinching the men’s 30+ singles title at the Indian Open 2026 at CrossCourts, Hyderabad.
Rashein Samuel delivered a commanding performance to clinch the men’s 30+ singles title at the Indian Open, a PWR 1000 event, held at CrossCourts in Hyderabad on April 3. He defeated Vishal Jadhav 11-6 in a high-quality final at the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) sanctioned event sponsored by Global Sports.
Samuel dictated the pace of the match with sharp placements and sustained rallies, leaving Jadhav struggling to find answers. For Jadhav, it was a heartbreaking end to an impressive run, finishing with a well-earned silver medal.
Reflecting on his performance, Samuel expressed satisfaction. “I had a great game. I think I was pretty zoned in, pretty focused. I was able to do what I intended to, get a lot of clean drives,” he told Pickleball Now.
He further emphasised his intent to stay competitive on every point. “And yes, just tried to compete for every point, didn’t let any point go for free. No more returns missed. I think I did what I had planned.”
